Jennifer Avin joined the Housing Authority in June of 2007 as the Senior Services Coordinator. Jennifer is a focused and dedicated professional who works to help her clients reach their goals and improve their quality of life. Bringing a joyful spirit and caring heart, as the Senior Services Coordinator she will maintain partnerships with community providers, while addressing the needs of our senior residents and link them with the resources and services necessary to enhance the quality of their lives and encourage independent living. As the SSC she will also provide case management services, coordinate physician appointments, assist with prescription enrollment programs, transportation services, utility assistance resources, arrange for the donation of groceries from local charity, plan outings, health and wellness presentations, guest speakers, and other educational, social and recreational activities for the senior residents. Jennifer has recently relocated from Miami, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She came to HACFM with several years of experience working in the social services field. Her compassionate character, knowledge and attention to detail, make her a genuine asset to the senior residents at HACFM.
